Welcome to the Atlantic Film Festival

From a few screenings for local filmmakers at the LSPU Hall in St. John’s to our Opening Night Red Carpet Gala with thousands of our closest friends, the Atlantic Film Festival has come a long way from its humble beginnings in 1981. Over the years the Atlantic Film Festival has matured into a year-round celebration of film, reaching out from our 10-day cornerstone event in September to include Strategic Partners co-production market, Viewfinders: International Film Festival for Youth, alFresco filmFesto outdoor summer screening series, and the Music & Image conference.
